The goal of Chianti vinification is to preserve the original varietal
character of Sangiovese grosso grapes and the full range of its
flavors, through a maceration process in stainless steel tanks at
controlled temperatures. This wine is deep ruby red, with an intense
violet aroma, and a slightly spicy, red berry taste. Medium to
full-bodied, this wine has a long and persistent
finish with velvety tannins.
